Cisco® Wireless LAN Controllers trabaja en conjunto con Cisco Aironet access points y Cisco Wireless Control System (WCS) para proveer un amplio rango de funcionalidades en wireless LAN. Como componente de Cisco Unified Wireless Network, el Cisco 2100 Series habilita a los administradores para administrar los servicios de WLANs y movilidad, así­ como seguridad ampliada, voz, acceso de invitados y servicios de localización.

Cisco 2100 Series Wireless LAN Controllers soporta hasta 6, 12, o 25 access points y hasta 256 clientes, haciendo una solución economica para comercios, oficinas remotas y pequeños y medianos negocios.
